I have loved horses from as far back as I can remember. As a kid I was in the Pony Club. As a teen I rode in a rodeo pageant. And in college drove horse carriages downtown. Horses defined a huge part of my life and I cherish the images I have with my horse that my father took of me. These photographs became the inspiration behind my photography. I understand the relationship that people have with their horses and how important it is to have that these moments captured.
I grew up in my father’s darkroom and have been a professional photographer for 5 years. To learn more about my craft, I take mentorships with photographers, attend workshops every chance I can, read everything I can get my hands on, enter photography competitions, and join professional groups. I love to share what I know, learn from others, and I cherish my photographer friendships.
